File Upload Instruction:

Step 1. Use Internet Explorer** to access the FTP server

Open up Internet Explorer, type in ftp://www.msciences.ca in the Address box. The "Log On As" dialog box (see below) should pop up and ask for the User name and Password.

Type in the User name and Password as provided by MSI. Phone or e-mail Purdy Smith in case you do not have the User name and Password.

** Internet Explorer 6 or newer version is recommended.

Step 2. Upload file(s)

Resize the FTP window to occupay no more than half of your screen. Then open up another window (using Windows Explorer) and navigate to the directory where you stored the file(s) you needed to upload to MSI. Select the file(s) and drag it to the FTP window (see the first screenshot below). You should see the dialog box "Copying..." (see the second screenshot below) to appear. If the upload is successful, you should see your file(s) to appear in the FTP window (see the third screenshot below). Otherwise, repeat Step 2.

Step 3. Inform MSI about the upload.

Send an e-mail to Purdy Smith to inform us about the upload.
